Prisons of Megazuex is a great throwback style game. It involves many classic MZX puzzles done really well. There are multiple endings meriting some multiple play throughs. I particularly enjoyed the old school MZX sense of humour and typos.

Prisons of Megazuex is a great short (20 mins) classic MZX game!

Here's a great example of a game which refuses to end. As you're nearing the end, there's several fake endings (if you press onwards somehow you can get past them - the real ending actually gives you a ranking on how well you did).

The plot appears quite well thought out, and actually plays quite a significant part of why this game owns. As humourous as this game is, it does portray the prison staff as quite horrible people you really don't want to meet.

In general, the attention to detail is quite impressive. While the graphical style is rather simplistic, there's a lot of really interesting "atmospheric" stuff. Atmosphere is what drives this game, really - you bust out of your small cell really quickly, pick up a gun, and start nailing your way through the puzzles. Once you've done that, you have to beat a boss.

And then it gets interesting. (I'm not going to spoil it here.)

The puzzles revolve around fairly simple concepts and don't just overdo it with slider puzzles and the like. Each appears to have their own trick. Those which don't appear to have a "trick" lean more towards the easy/straighforward side, which I much prefer to the alternative.

Overall, you have a fairly quick & interesting game which is worth taking a look into. While a couple of coins don't appear to make sense (I think their locations are mentioned in a text file, and the last two are near the end IIRC), what you end up with is n action game which really comes alive, despite the simple graphics. And that, my dear friends, is how a game should be.
