Nonsense 3 Demo added
[ Posted by Hercules on Wednesday, July 19, 2006, at 9:08 PM ]
I have finally added EmalkaY's Nonsense 3 Demo (click for details), which can be downloaded here. This MegaZeux game has already been out for a while, but I was a little behind on things. Anyway, enjoy!

I've also cleaned some things up here. The updates have been manually archived (I still need to get the scripts to work again one of these days...). Also, three members have been removed from our roster, as they seemed to have disappeared for good: Jeff Conroy, Jojoisjo, and Gentoo (formerly known as Theta14). Updated our history.

10th Anniversary - From here to eternity!
[ Posted by Hercules on Sunday, July 2, 2006, at 11:55 AM ]
It's been a bloody while, but I have a good reason to post out of the blue without adding any substantial content:

IF turned 10 years old last month!

Bada-bing! Who thought we'd live to see the day? I admit, we're not too productive these days, but who knows what the future may hold.

In other news, I received my MSc degree in biology last week. :D Our vice-president Hydra also received his MSc (in computer science) a while ago. Also, half of our members have vanished off the face of the earth (and will be deleted from the members section soon). And what would an update be without my saying I'm going to be leaving again? Well, in three weeks, I'll be enjoying three good weeks in the Caribbean (the islands of Curaçao and Bonaire).

But remember this, folks: IF will live on into eternity. 6/1996, never forget!

We live! And Rob P. releases Sabotage
[ Posted by Hercules on Sunday, November 20, 2005, at 11:25 PM ]
I once spoke the words "And you know I'll be back in June. Until then!". I actually did return from Indonesia on June 1, but for some twisted reason, I never got around to updating this page. In a nutshell: my time in Indonesia was awesome and my research report is nearing completion. I'm also working at the National Museum of Natural History three days a week now, which my wallet is happy about.

Good news for all you ZZT people out there (or those of you who're left in the barren wastelands, anyway): our made man Robert P. released his ZZT game Sabotage (click for more info), which can be downloaded here.

Hopefully, more updates will follow in the future. This site needs some new blood.

A temporary goodbye
[ Posted by Hercules on Wednesday, January 5, 2005, at 7:54 PM ]
It's 2005 already, and man, time sure flies! May 2005 bring you all good things.

For me, this is a temporary goodbye, as I am catching a flight to Jakarta (Indonesia) tomorrow. I will move on to Kalimantan (the Indonesian part of Borneo) for college research. I will fly back to The Netherlands on May 31, so I'll be gone for quite a while. Sadly I did not get around to adding the other pictures to the site, but such is life. I won't be updating in the meantime, but I hope some of you will keep coming back here, just for oldschool's sake. And you know I'll be back in June. Until then!
