Alright people... meet your host for the 2004 Summer Day of Zeux.

Although I am still hosting the MZXO at the moment... I'd like to get started on the DoZ as soon as possible.

This years Summer DoZ will occur sometime in July. But first off, I'd like to get a general idea of when most people will be available. I'd prefer to have it on Saturday, July 16th at 3:00pm EST. If anyone objects to this, or has a better suggestion, please reply to this post.

As for judges... there will be four of them. I have some people in mind. If these people decline then I will search for more people I feel are confident/competent enough for the position.

If you're anxious to sign up... fear not. The website is top priority at the moment. So we should have a sign-up form ready to go in no time. The teams can consist of anywhere from 1-3 people, with a full team electing one backup. The official rules will accompany the website.

On my birthday... YAY ^_^!

ANYWAY the date is good (see above reason) for me. And about when can we start signing up?

EDIT: Came out wrong =/.
EDIT 2: It's not good with so many mistakes a day.

July? I don't know how long it'll take me to move back to Oregon (we're making good time so far), and I doubt Windows MZX will be out at that point, so I won't be entering.

Hrm... I might actually be able to participate. =o

I'm looking into another job and if the hours work out right. I'M THERE!

Recently I've been going on 5 hours (and under) of sleep a day so I'm totally ready for a DOZ... BRING IT ON!

Exo: If WinMZX is out by then, it'll depend solely on whether or not I can get settled in, my computer set up, and my internet hooked up by then.

I had considered that... but for me, it's a No-Can-Do. I'll be working on Friday. And 6pm EST is 4pm my time. I never get back home until 6-7pm, usually.

I'll be entering if I find a team mate who is good at graphics... I have a few friends who are artists but I'm not sure they'd take to the MZX style.

The Finnards are in. Probably. Unless something really dramatic and shocking comes up. Like, one of us gets killed or something. Nah, even that wouldn't stop us from joining the DoZ. ;)

Ripster: I'm not sure I'd want to make a game with you. It's not that I hate you or anything, but you've kind of proven that you won't stick to anything for any amount of time(although I shouldn't really be talking. I haven't been here for a year yet and I have maybe 6 attempted projects ;)). Also, you are kind of irritating, I'll tell you upfront.

I've got a friend who will let me use his voicechat server so I'll invite teams there. I'm sure MZX + voicechat would be interesting.
Edit: I just thought about that, I decided I would only invite my team and the most promising team.

Also if you are any of the awesome people in here like Tecki or Fungahhh and want to team with me just ask.

This year I've talked with two (2) people and managed (*COUGHBRIBEDCOUGH*) to make them join in with me... unless they can't, for whatever reasons... which they most likely will =/.
And... EST is like... -5 GMT or something like that? I keep forgetting. Any help appreciated (had to be said =| ).
