The DoZ is now over! Congratulations to everyone who participated; to those of you who chickened out and bailed in the middle, shame on you, you are no longer my friends.
But we did have a pretty good turnout this DoZ, with 14 of the 20 participants submitting SOMETHING to me. Anyway, you don't really care about that, you care about the games, so here they are in one nice, big bundle.
And for those who want them ? la carte:

Yep, already.

Looks like most games totally lack gameplay.
It's a bit sad.

Hey, can we make a new rule next time? "Anyone who attempts to make a joke entry automatically gets disqualified, no matter how high quality it may be."

The point of me entering as God of Stupidity was to make joke entries so bad that nobody would ever want to make a joke entry again. It backfired, though, and now the joke entries are getting WORSE. I mean, just look at team 19541's entry for instance. GAH. And I don't know what the people who made 74592 were smoking, but I bet Roo would be pretty pissed if he found out that they blatantly stole from AHTM2, and the author(s) even explained that they knew this. I did laugh at the entry, though... =(

Long story short: joke entries were funny when it was suxiT, but now they're just getting stale and repetitive.

The End: I thought the topics made for interesting plots, actually.

And Kuru; I agree on all that apart from one thing. I don't think the joke entries were funny even when it was suxiT. =(

That was fun. Nothing like being up all night. I'm going on waay more than the usual 24 hours right now, which I'm sure you all were just dying to know. My teammate started losing it at about 9 AM (PST). Ohwell.

A DoZ is a DoZ.

It takes skill to make a good joke game, not ALL CAPS and WTF'S and LOLZ.

Eh, I don't know why Kuru is getting his fit in a tizzy, or whatever. Both of the games in question will be disqualified anyway, 74592 for being made by RoSS and company, who put their names (slightly modified, but still) on the title screen, and 19451 for having no relation to the theme (though this will be for the judges to decide, ultimately).
Maybe he's just mad because RoSS and Fungahhh and Zell made the entry he wanted to make, but DIDN'T HAVE THE BALLS to.

How about not? Because not all joke entries are bad. In fact, sometimes joke entries can be more memorable than the real entries, themselves.
As for my game, when I decided a week ago that I was going to create an Arfenhouse entry, I was thinking about doing it in honor of the series, not just stealing from it and hoping nobody would find out. IN FACT, since Misteroo used to be a ZZTer, I was thinking of sending it to him, if the game had been a little bit better. Unfortunately, however, I had to create the game by myself, so I wasn't able to put in all the things that I wanted, like voice-acting; I REALLY wanted that, and if I had had another hour or so I would've put it in. Oh well. It's done and I still laugh at it every time I watch it so I'm happy. I couldn't care less if other people don't like it, but I appreciate those who do.

I was not at all suprised to see GoS's entry was a joke game, but there were multiple joke games. If they were excluded from the big package thingy, I probably could have saved myself a little bit of downloading time.

...And I have yet to see a FUNNY joke game...

Yes. All games will be judged, regardless of whether their score will count or not. Even GoS's game, though if that gets more than about 20 points combined...
For whatever it's worth, I thought your Arfenhouse homage was absolutely brilliant, and pcmicah simply has no sense of satire-disguised-as-immature-kid humor.

Some of you may have already noticed this, but submission 90135 was missing several files due to an error during its initial submission, including, most notably, the MZX file. It has now been updated with the correct version.

I think the only joke game that actually made me laugh was the one with that E-X-O song it in. I can't remember it's name though.

I think it was THE NEW BEYOND THE WEIRD STREET OF ETERNAL HORIZON LAND CHRISTMAS.

Now CASTLEVANIA DSOD was just bad, and I'm not afraid to admit it. suxiT broke the Keep It Short or Interesting rule on that one. :\

STFU City was in a different DoZ, so it doesn't count. I'm still fond of that Pacman minigame I made for the game, though.

I liked the "Swords" topic. In both of the DoZs I've competed in, the abstract topic was stupid. Except I liked the joke entry with the intelligent, talking sword and the guy in the suit.
Some joke entries aren't bad at all.

Can't we have the topic "DoZ" in the next DoZ? That would result in some funny games!

A game where you make a game and such! FUN!
