That is probably the most awesome and funny idea ever.

We should build Reese's Pieces bombs, which explode and send Reese's Pieces all over the place. Enemy soldiers would be so busy collecting the delicious candies that they could easily be picked off by nearby snipers... who also have a bag full of Reese's Pieces, which helps them resist the urge to join the enemy soldiers in picking them up.

if the explosion was strong enough i imagine the reese's pieces shrapnel could kill. :(

As for the gay bomb; I find that hilarious. I'd love to get my hands on a chemical that could turn people gay. I wonder what effect it would have on a gay person is.

This is the greatest thing since Lowtax's speech at Michigan University. Also, the sheerly obsurd nature of the bomb is absolutely laughable, and yet seems quite insulting at the same time.

Also, this makes me wonder if the military has considered using recreational drugs as possible weapon. I mean, if you dropped 10 tons of burning marijuana on an advancing force, what would the result be?

They were studying LSD back in the 50s or something, although I don't know if the government was interested in using it on the battlefield, like poison gas was in WWI. I think they were more interested in stuff like slipping a little to opposing political leader right before a speech.

And here's Wikipedia. I especially like this paragraph:

Quote

The British government also engaged in LSD testing; in 1953 and 1954, scientists working for MI6 dosed servicemen in an effort to find a "truth drug". [...] One subject, aged 19 at the time, reported seeing "walls melting, cracks appearing in people's faces ? eyes would run down cheeks, Salvador Dal?-type faces ? a flower would turn into a slug". [...] Like the CIA, MI6 decided that LSD was not a practical drug for mind control purposes.

Why build a bomb that will make the enemy gay and really do nothing to help us, if we can just build an H-bomb and whipe out those stupid little countries?

Better yet - the PARANOIAC ANARCHY BOMB! The enemy soldiers become distrustful, move into separate bunkers, stockpile provisions and munitions, and spend their free time writing insane, rambling manifestos on fifty-year-old typewriters!

LSD? Why not turn it into a vapour, and drop it like nerve gas, and watch the enemy soldiers shooting each other, ranting on about giant monsters and crazy crap? Maybe it'll be something like this

Soldier one: Aw man, i feel like shit after that gas attack and i see video game characters walking round the base.
Soldier Two: Look, maybe you guys would feel better if you both stop melting.
Soldier Three: Look whose talking! As if you were'nt ugly enough with only one head!
Soldier two: That's it Giant Bug, let's see how you like hot lead!
