What is your meaning of life?

I think, "Life is a lonely journey. you may think you have it all but you see... nothing will ever be yours truely."

You may have close friends all the way through out the journey of life, but at some point, they will leave you.

Money cycles around and around, you may be rich and poor at some point during your life.

Nothing in life is permenant.

What do u people think? Plz share your thoughts.

The meaning of my life is watching other people fight over what the meaning of life is.
Phasing in and out now and then.

This makes me cry so much. Way to fulfill the prophecy on the very first reply =P

Anyways, I think a lot of my meaning of life is in the book of Ecclesiastes.

Blaugh!
Serious damage to important body parts pretty much ruins any plans you had for living. Bummer.

If life has a meaning we'll never know what it is.

All those who pretend to know are making it up.

or, they have the stones to create their own meaning, instead of going through life a nihilist.

My meaning of life is that while life might not mean anything in the long run we should make it pretty damn cool while it lasts. My way of doing that is to somehow make the world better for people coming into it! (My plan is to devote myself to politics and fix that end but WHO KNOWS what may happen.)

Life has as much meaning as you give it. Each person is different, I think, and each person derives a sense of purpose from different things. I would say, for myself, the meaning of life is to love as deeply as possible, to trust as fully as I can, and to never stop pursuing the truth. I wouldn't go so far as to say that this is the meaning of life for all people in the world as I don't think anyone has the authority or wisdom to make such an ubiquitous statement.

logicow is right. no one has told us the meaning of life and none of us know what it is. since we're all pretty similar though, meaning can be added to life if you give yourself a purpose. my purpose is music. as with every non-joking reply in this thread, though, i'm only saying things y'all know in the back of yo minds. thus it should piss you off pretty thoroughly to read this or any of the other replies because it's elementary information you should know already. if you don't, well, you're stupid. really stupid.

stop being stupid.

We have goals that we want to achieve.

I guess you could call this the meaning of our lives.

My current goal is to have passing grades in all of my classes.
