Message from the Management

When you finish a new game, demo, engine, or utility, the first thing to do is submit it to the archive for approval. (Log in first, then Upload a New Game from the sidebar.) Then feel free to post about it in this forum; in fact, please continue to do this. This is so people will actually know about your game and play it. As nice as it is to have archive uploads automated, it's not going to help much if no one knows you have a new game to play.

When uploading your games to the archive, please zip up your game using the .ZIP format, even if it is just a .MZX file. As for less popular formats (such as RAR and 7Z), games uploaded in these formats will be rejected. This is because as wonderful as those compression algorithms might be, ZIP is a near universal compression standard, and the only one that will work with the in-game archive browser planned for MZX.

You can also attach your game to a new thread in this forum. In this case, you can use whatever compression format you find suitable. NOTE: Games posted this way won't be put into the archive unless submitted to the archive proper, or unless the author states he/she wants the game in.

Lastly, we suggest you post a suitable screenshot of your submission (in PNG format) along with the game.

City Limits is done, so if you played the demo, you'd know what is about. Basicly, a psycotic mastermind named Vladimir is trying the bomb the city of Los Angeles. He uses a modified rocket and drenches the city in green-ish explosive. Some things you may not have liked in the demo (like 3x3 viewpoint ) have been fixed.

New Code

Quote

. "@Vladimir"
: "fight"
shootmissile to seek
wait for 20
goto "fight"
end

After I played the demo compared to this version, I think Vladimir has been weakened a bit.

Lol it's fun getting the first key. It's kind of hard to mess up but there is a way. You can put the north south block on the stairs :P I have to do other stuff lol LIKE BLENDER :O or something but I might play this more. 2 Lives isn't enough. Stupid exploding houses >:( Lol :D Oh and when you go outside it's to light. O WELL. But if I just play some more I bet it would be better lol.

I think too much explosions should be a MZX syndrome. :(

Keep in mind that this is my first MZX game, and it gets better as you go along in my opinion.

Well, no, it wasn't my first game right when I started. I first just made a blank world file to learn robotic and design and such until I felt good enough to start an actual game. But, yes, this is my first game, just not my first experience. I plan to make an SE version and add items and fix the bugs.

EDIT: My avatar's cool now, right?

The best software to manipulate images into avatars would be Irfanview. It handles all the simple functions needed (cropping, resizing, saving) and it's completely free.
Blaugh!
Serious damage to important body parts pretty much ruins any plans you had for living. Bummer.
