I don't know if anyone here uses REAPER as a DAW. But in case anyone does and you're like me and you miss a tracker interface, I scripted a tracker for it:

The tracker supports MIDI note entry, velocity entry, one channel for CC events, manual note OFFs, a legato track, interpolation, setting loop points and play from position and FX automation via automation envelopes (best way to handle automation in REAPER). Cut/copy/paste functionality is also present, but can currently not leave a tracker instance.
The input is modeled after Buzz with some minor differences. In case you want to edit the key mapping, all that stuff is at the top of the script. If you have a different key layout (based on a different tracker perhaps), please let me know and I will add it.

See the README and help for more info.

If you use the Reapack package manager, add this repository: https://raw.githubus...aster/index.xml to stay up to date with patches and new features.

Now for part two of this "kit". Hackey machines, which mimicks the Jeskola Buzz machine view in REAPER (with some extra's that I always wanted in buzz but never got)!
